Our team of rookies have been called in by Sergeant Collins, the head of the local police department in Marshfield, Wisconsin. As we have just graduated from the police academy in Quantico, he needs our help to clear up several missing persons cases in the small town. They have a suspect, and the sergeant has obtained a search warrant, but we need to move fast. Given the short amount of time available, we will be on hand via conference call to assist him as he enters the premises and help him find evidence.

We became aware of Level Games through a Facebook article which said that the Californian provider unfortunately must close its business due to COVID. However, to give as many enthusiasts from all over the world the opportunity to experience one of their rooms Level Games prepared The Menagerie for remote play for the last few weeks before they closed. We are glad that we took advantage of this opportunity.

The 90-minute experience is streamed via zoom. The Avatar-Character is 100% in his role and involves us, as his team, very well in the investigation by sending us case files, providing us with live images from various camera perspectives, as well as photos taken at the scene. I would have loved to solve this case on the spot, but also as a remote play it was an exciting investigation with a nice tension. A great escape room, with an inventive story, an unusual setting with much love to detail, well designed and immersive. Creative puzzles, which worked well via camera, and a lot of things to do. Also set, sound, and lightning are very professional. I’m sorry they have to close, but so please we got the chance to play The Menagerie..
