The Space / Noordkade Uitjes in Veghel advertises to be the biggest Escape mission in the world and that’s what they do. The dimension of the scenery is mega impressive.

There are two missions, THE LAUNCH and THE SABOTAGE, which you can play either individually or, in a larger constellation, also as a Versus game. Unfortunately, we weren’t enough people for the latter. But especially the duel mode would have been very interesting, because you don’t play two identical rooms, as it’s usually the case, but you want to launch a rocket ? on the one side American soldiers ?? what the second team as Russian spies ?? ? tries to prevent. I think the idea is ingenious.

In both missions you are inserted into the story by a professionally shot film, which is shown in a small cinema hall, before you are guided to the actual venue via metal gangways. The mission begins.

But after that the huge potential of this escape game is undoubtedly not fully exploited, in my opinion.

For my taste one stays much too long in the first, rather unspectacular part of the game to solve puzzles under too loud music in a too dark room, to open countless locks and to find far too many search items. The time is missing in the last part of the game. Where it’s really super interesting. I found the puzzles in the sum here rather weak. Sometimes less is just more.
