This was the first of the two games we played at this company. The other one was already reviewed by Heiner called The Ring and, in a way, I am glad we played them in that order, because The Ring was outstanding. This does not mean that The Cursed Doll was bad, on the contrary, but it lacked the unique things of the other room.

The Cursed Doll is obviously inspired by Annabelle, it has some good acting and it will make you run for your life at certain moments, even when there is nowhere to run to, which means that you will crawl into a corner, hoping for everything to pass. The game is designed in such a way, that you have to move around, letting you exposed to the evil forces at hand.

The ambiance is rather classic and matches the type of horror game and its topic. As in almost every horror game, there are some valor tests, so when you play it with two people like we did, both have to be brave enough while being alone, although now that I think about it, you are actually never alone.

In spite of its rather classical nature, the game provides for a few highlights and a more than suitable warming up for the next game.
