We should have listened to our parents and not ventured into the dark attic! Now we are locked up in this spooky place and discover things that should not have come to light.
The Attic is played via zoom with a split screen. On one half the perspective from the GM/Avatar view, on the other half live images from one of the regular, fixed cameras. In this way, you can easily switch between close-up and overview.
The attic is not a very spacious game, which is not important for remote play. Instead, it is packed with things you would expect to find up there. The puzzles were partly challenging. We were 1-2 times close to requesting a tip. There were some good ideas and effects. A little background music and sound could have surely improved the atmosphere.
Our Avatar always stayed in his role and did a good job.
