Welcome to the Motel Paranoia! (to be read like singing Hotel California)

I found the proposal of this escape room very interesting. Obviously, there are some things, which tend to be common in horror escape rooms, like excessive darkness and not necessarily the toughest puzzles, but this room had quite a few things that stood out and are particularly worth mentioning.

First of all, the space. Even when many Greek rooms are very large, the scale of the motel reception was impressive. Further, the game had both a very good beginning and a nice, strong ending, that is not something that it is always like that, even in good rooms.

Additionally, the acting was really good and there was quite some interaction which is not so typical of scary rooms, where the interaction is solely scare jumps (or running away).

On top of that there were a few nice elements and the story was quite interesting. Finally, it is worth saying, that while in all of the games in Athens, we were really friendly received when we had games run by the owners, the little detail of the Motel Paranoia souvenir, was lovely.
