Genius’ Insanity

This is a review of the Escape Room “Genius’ Insanity” offered by Questhouse in Sofia, Bulgaria.
  • ⭐️ 6.5/10
  • 🌡 Difficult
  • ⏳ 60 Minutes
  • 👥 2 – 8 Person

We received a very warm welcome at Questhouse and had a nice chat with tea and cookies before the game.

Questhouse runs a single escape room. The main focus is on organizing art workshops for children and adults, teambuilding or birthday parties.

Genius’ Insanity is dedicated to the theme of Van Gogh, which is easy to see as soon as you enter the artist’s studio. The room is mostly first generation and offers a reasonably varied range of logical puzzles. The puzzles were quite easy for us. With 34 minutes we only just missed the best time.

Nevertheless I think that the room can be quite a challenge for less experienced players. At least on the FB page you can see a lot of team photos with 60’ times.

How close genius and madness are, you can also notice during the game, because in the course of the game the mood changes abruptly and it even gets a little bit creepy out the back.

Recommended team size, 2-5 persons, depending on gaming experience.
