Our night isn’t going well. The card game was good, but our judgement not, and we’ve lost all our money. Well, more than what we had, and our opponents are not happy. The unscrupulous types made us an offer to repay our debts. Break into the museum and steal five treasures of the Captain.

The designers packed the Museum full of treasures, pictures, chests, weapons, and more. Though a tad bit crowded, it feels genuine. I enjoyed looking at all the items, as though it were an actual museum. Good decoration is a strong point for this company.

Unfortunately, the beautiful aesthetics are not enough to save this room. There are a good assortment of puzzles, though a few of them felt more annoying than fun. Broken mechanisms are primarily responsible. Despite knowing exactly what to do and how to do it, three of the puzzles didn’t work. These are not fundamental problems with the puzzle, but straight-forward malfunctions.

One or two more puzzles though not broken were not ideal — of course, after suffering through malfunctions, our eyes became extra critical. There are nice ideas in the room, too bad we couldn’t enjoy them fully.

I wish they put as much care into the mechanisms as the decorations. Atmosphere is important to me, and I value it highly, but if the room doesn’t work, then it’s pointless. The Museum is frustrating, with the clever moments ruined by malfunction. I hope they fix the problems.
