A cabin in the woods sounds like quite a calm vacation spot. But that’s not the case when outside of the cabin is a werewolf, and you are not there for a vacation – but in order to survive.

In Before Moonrise room, you will need to solve puzzles, and figure out how to get rid of the imminent threat, that is about to break into the cabin! However, the game is not a horror room in any aspect. It is a fantasy-themed room, and an excellent one, that is my personal all time favorite remote room.

The inventory system, at least when I played the game, wasn’t my favorite one. The puzzles in the room were great, but they are not the thing that made me fall in love with the room.

I am a big fan of fantasy escape rooms, especially those who can actually make me feel like I’m transported to a different world. And in this room, the tech does exactly that.

There were at least 3 different points in the room, in which I stared at the screen with childlike wonder. Without giving anything away, some of the elements in the room were so beautifully made, that with them, it is possible for you to forget for a second that you aren’t actually inside a fantasy world.

This room easily goes to the top of my remote list, and thanks to those elements, probably to the top of my all time escape room list!
